Francesca Azuremare: Creator, Writer, Admin
I was so affected by the end of Merlin I had to find an outlet for my feelings so I wrote the first article and put it up on the original blog on Dec 27th, 3 days after seeing the final episode of Merlin: "Why do so many mourn the death of Arthur?" The response was extraordinary as hundreds of people shared that they too had a similar experience.
I was born in Wales and have lived in the US for 20 years, currently in Hawaii. I have two daughters, aged 19 & 20 (who also both love Merlin). I am a writer, medium, healer.
"I don't watch TV" has been a mantra for 20 years. Merlin is different. Merlin touched my heart... and it seems as though it touched many hearts around the world. There's something in it that is worth continuing. It's about more than Merlin, it's about the values that were portrayed... that's what people want now. I have never taken time to be part of a movement like this but people are tired of violence & special effects. They want magic in their lives; they want more Merlin!

My name is Amanda Young, wife and mother of three wonderful sons. I live in Somerset in England, and truly devoted to my Merlin family and to more Merlin adventures. I have always loved the Arthurian legends & I have written several poems and pieces about Merlin and this series. I found the blog in the first week after the show's end and immediately resonated with what I read. Love Love Love Merlin. Was devastated with the ending. I want more Merlin and that's why I am here. I will do whatever I can to help and bring a new series to life. I've never done anything like this before but then again I've never felt so strongly about a common goal. Most of the television today isn't fit for families and I enjoyed watching this brilliant show with my daughter.
I found the original blog as soon as it went up and surprisingly found myself accepting Francesca's offer to share my feelings on the end of Merlin with "Merlin's Spell on my Life".

The reason that I love Merlin is because the beautiful friendship between Arthur and Merlin, the love between Arthur and Gwen, the magic, the adventure. It is so beautifully made and it is so fantastic. The end was so sad and touching. I want Merlin back, I want the feel the magic again in my life. When I have a bad day Merlin always makes my day good again. I really miss it.

Hi! My name is Marie and I live in France. I was born on July 19th 1989 and I’m a vet. I’ve always loved heroic fantasy and I’m a huge fan of the Lord of The Rings and the Hobbit.I discovered Merlin by chance, and what immediately caught my attention was this incredible relationship between Arthur and Merlin. I enjoy having fun with them, and sharing their sadness. I think that a big part of the interest of Merlin is in the characters, played by talented actors who bring emotions and realism to them. I love its magic too, and its music… in fact I love many things in Merlin!I was absolutely shocked by the last episode, and each time I watch it (I’ve difficulty to watch it), I want to shout : “Hey guys, what on earth have you done ? And why ?” I wanted to be heared, to share my opinion and my feelings, and to do something.With More Merlin, I discovered that I was not lonely. That’s a way to fight for our goal, because everything is possible. Our heroes must come back, because we love them, and because they don’t deserve such an awful end. So guys, as the druidess said “I forgive you”…, but only if you forget the end and write a sequel !
Tony de Haan: Dutch Translaton, Dutch Representative & Blog Admin
Tony de Haan was born in Leeuwarden (the Netherlands) and makes a living as an archivist at a large insurance company.
In his spare time he does the lay-out for Lembas, the magazine of the Dutch Tolkien Society Unquendor and has been involved in two plays of the Unquendor Theatre Group, both as an actor and as production/lighting designer.
He is also a member (and one of its founders) of the Middle-earth re-enactmentgroup Ennorandirrim and is currently working on his first fantasy novel.
He is living in a small apartment crammed with thousands and thousands of books, including a shelf on Arthurian history, myth and legend and the complete set of Merlin on DVD.

I was born in France, moved to Canada six years ago and call the Yukon home now. I love to travel, but also love to get back to my cozy little cabin in the woods. There’s nothing like living in Canada’s Far North and there’s nothing like watching Merlin on long winter nights. I have been a Merlin fan for several years now. I love this series for many reasons, but most of all because Merlin never failed to make me smile, never once, until I watched the last episode… It cannot end this way and we have to do something about it!

Hello Merlin's lovers! My name is Milena, I'm 21 years old, and I live in a lovely town called Bariloche in Argentina. I'm a student and next year I'll become a Cook! Cooking is not easy and it takes a lot of practice, but when people taste my food and they smile... that fills my soul. I like watching series, even more if they are in english, I watched a lot of them, but The Adventures of Merlin was different. Sincerely I have no enough words to describe how much I loved watching it. Each episode was different, but all of them try to leave us a message, the value of being courageous, kind, respectful, honest, humble... as simply as give your heart to everything you do, that's how things change, and no matter how bad this change looks, it's always for good! HI my name is Elsi I am from Cyprus and I was born on 18 of June of 1990. I studied economics and I love music and anything that has to do with magic. I watched the series of Merlin at the moment when I was so devastated and dispirited from my life. This literally became my salvation. Through the deepest darkness I felt like I finally found the light. Because people need magic in their lives they need to believe in it, exists or not it is vital. We are all so tired of seeing meaningless and pointless scenes on that screen. People need to unearth the forgotten and buried emotions of morality, integrity, honesty, solidarity of true friendship and love, of keeping our promises and protect our beliefs with our lives if that is what makes us happy and stop following our society's standards. Merlin taught me all that and taught me that our rights end where the rights of others start and respect must be restored in our days. Respect of other’s feelings, decisions and dreams. We must fight for what we believe even if we can’t foretell the future, believing and being positive are the only tools which even if you fail you will be successful, because magic never gives us a kick without a ton of gifts. So I Want More Merlin because he restored my faith!!!!!!!!!!!!!
